Mass Hysteria [FRA (Paris)]

The signature sound of Mass Hysteria, ever since thir first album on the label Yelen Music (Sony) entitled Le Bien-être et la Paix, has been a sort of techno metal, with as much power guitar as samples. Ignoring the categorisations typical of the metal scene, Mass Hysteria even took elements of pop and French music into their broad spectrum. Their second album Cohtraddiction contained a more muscular sound, and their repetoire became a lot more sombre. Now back with their new album Failles, their sound is more honed following tours with Limp Bizkit and Metallica. Still with energy and sonic innovation, they have confirmed their place as an indispensible part of the French metal scene.
